Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton Member, 1999-2006
Occupation: Director of Admissions at the Atlanta Institute of Music & Media
Caitlin Hunt became a member of the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton in 1999 at the age of 11, when the Club was located in dilapidated mobile units outside of M.C. Riley Elementary School. She graduated from Bluffton High School in 2006 and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina in 2011.
Now 30 years old, Caitlin is the Director of Admissions for the Atlanta Institute of Music and Media.
”The Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton played a major role in who I am today,” says Caitlyn. “I learned to be the very best version of myself from the character building skills and principles taught to me by my peers and the staff that I was surrounded by on a daily basis. Those skills and principles were key components to my success in education and business that afforded me the ability to become an integral part of my new community in Marietta, Georgia where I now volunteer at my local Boys & Girls Club as an adult.
Caitlin largely credits the Boys & Girls Club of Bluffton for helping her achieve success in her career. She says, “The leadership skills I was taught as a member, Youth of the Year and Junior Staff member have all played a huge part in becoming a Director of Admissions at such a young age.”
